Did you see this video of the protest? Maybe it's not so boring....
No, it was still very boring. On one hand, I definitely think that they probably overdid it by having people there confiscating signs... however, it is BYU we're talking about, where give anyone any remote hint of some power and they take it upon themselves to govern the world... (e.g. BYUSA).
Now, had the film shown some real manhandling, or yelling, then it might have been interesting, although there are soooooooo many other examples of "free speech" being stomped upon, that I think this obvious attempt to make BYU look stupid (especially with the low hanging fruit at the Y) was trying a way too hard. Interview crazy people, that is what's funny.
